Merry Christmas Everybody!

Merry Christmas everyone! I drew my 200th cartoon the other day - yep for anyone who paid attention to my last news post, you can now tell how many toons I've drawn but not posted - there is quite a lot of extra material for the book! (and that's after I've had a sneaky few weeks off from the drawing and posting, yay for cunning pre-upload systems!)


Just because I'm in a good mood and on holiday I'm posting over weekends for the holiday period, which lasts til I go back to the day job on the 5th of January. I hope you like!

Happy Half Birthday!

Monday morning saw the shockingly swift arrival of Jim and Tonic's six month anniversary (where on earth did the year go?)- that's 120 toons released into the wild, or 40 pages, as I draw them by hand. In fact though, I've drawn rather more than 40 pages, and rather than keep my cartoon running ridiculously behind the times, I've skipped a few here and there. So here's where I announce my cunning plan to produce a book to fit them all in!


Jim and Tonic - the Book will contain all of my previously unseen cartoonage, along with all of the toons dating back to the first of June, as well as exclusive full page adventures drawn especially for the book, and plenty of extra chaos thrown in. And here's where you guys come in:


Feedback Please! - I'm probably going to be self-publishing, which gives me quite a lot of control over the end product. What I'm wanting to know from regular readers is:

How many pages do you think should be in a cartoon book, and at what price?

Will you complain loudly if it takes me another six months to put this thing together?

Any requests? (Reasonable ones!)

Lastly, but most important - Will you buy it? (Hint: the correct answer here is 'Yes!')
